The discount cards can offer a percentage off common items that parents buy for themselves or school supplies for the children. For this event the school simple has to announce that it is having a fund raising event and send home booklets with each student. If the parents do not wish to purchase them, they simply send them back. More often than not though, the students come back looking for more booklets to sell to their relatives.
