Believe it or not there are lots of employment opportunities in auto detailing and this is a career as it is the type of business you can learn as you work. It only take a few months and you can go from an apprentice to a seasoned of veteran of the industry in a busy detail shop. Many people who work in the auto detailing business are actually independent contractors and they get paid for every car they do and the shop deals with a customer and cuts them a check at the end of each day or week for all the cars that they have detailed. It is kind of like a running your own business, but someone else is paying all the bills. Employment opportunities in auto detailing are good because you can learn a new trade on the job and get paid well for doing it. There is a huge shortage in United States of America for auto technicians and mechanics and this problems often spills over into auto detailing as people move up into the maintenance of automobiles.
